yesterday there was too much sprout going on so i thought i'd give little miss bean her day in the sun.
bean rode the rides at the zoo all by herself. she took the ride card and got in line. (i hovered behind her for fear she would either freak out or lose the card!) she handed the ride card to the operator. they opened the gate for her and she went in and chose her seat. the ride operator came around and fastened her seatbelt. and she was off! not once did she ask me to go with her. not once did she freak out. she rode three rides all by her big girl self!

she also rode the froghopper but sorry no photo. (i'm not sure the other kids on the ride want the picture on the internet!)
other things bean:
*when asked to try a new food she tells you "i'll try it when i'm 4". let me tell you, we are having a huge feast when she turns 4!!
*she is totally neurotic. but i hear that's what happens when you are 3 so i let it slide. ;)
*have i mentioned that she starts school in 2 weeks? i have? forgive the repetition. i'm bracing myself for a 3 year old freak out when i walk out the door. its going to happen, isn't it?
*she is simultaneously the most beautiful child i've ever seen...
and the most annoying little parasite on the planet but, i hear this is also related to being three, so once again, gotta let it slide.stop back tomorrow for more bean. i hand picked some great beanisms for this week. really, there are some good ones! :)

CUTE! :) Adam loves those rides, too... and he likes to use his Z card, all by himself, as well. His favorite ride is the frog hopper. Did you guys go last night? We were there last night...and Sunday... and like three days last week. lol We have lived at the zoo this summer!
Oh. Next week. How about the sing along, again, at Polaris? It's at 9 on Monday. We are going! Then maybe we could do lunch after? Let me know!

HAHAHA!!! Oh, that is so true! Og my girl, I mean. What a goofy little Bean she is. Or rather, a BIG GIRL Bean, riding all those rides by herself! Woohoo!
Wow...has Addie already turned 3 - I feel like she is so "Bean-like" in so many ways!
Those are great shots of her on the rides, but I LOVE the last one of her in her princess finery!
