if you were at my house last night you would have heard the following:
bean: no, i don't want to brush my teeth!
me: you have to brush your teeth honey.
bean: but i don't want to!
me: sorry about your luck, honey. you gotta brush. it's a rule.
bean: but mommy, i think i might be allergic to teeth brushing!
me: umm. no, i don't think that it is possible to be allergic to teeth brushing. good try though.
ha ha ha!

Very sharp ears!Stay on your toes Mama!! I remember asking a friend with an older child what I should do if the BA refused to let me clean her teeth and she said it was one thing she would physically insist upon! Fortunately we never came to that. I just used to sing to her at teeth time

She's allergic to brushign teeth, that's classic! haha!
It works for us to let N brush, and then I brush while we sing one song.
Ha! In that case, I'm allergic to doing dishes and laundry and scrubbing toilets and cleaning bath tubs.
Harrison tells me that brushing his teeth makes him sick... LOL
