yesterday we did the magnolia by itself. today we add children!
we took pictures of her in the tree two years ago and i was hoping to make it a yearly event. sadly, last year we had a late frost that killed ALL of the blossoms before they opened, so no picture. :( i really didn't want to miss another year, so even though she was in her pajamas we headed out to the tree. bean likes almost any excuse to sit in a tree. so with daddy standing by as her spotter, i took some pictures. i got some pretty good ones before she decided that she had had enough.
sprout, well, he was asleep as usual. so daddy held him up by some blossoms and i snapped a couple shots. we wouldn't want him to feel left out, you know! ;) he looks like a little chunk with that double chin he has going on! ha ha!
so, today is the day. i'm getting the kiddos dressed and packing a lunch and we are headed off to the zoo. i suppose that everyone will think i'm crazy again.... i really need to come up with a snappy come back for that one. of course, since he's almost a month old, i probably won't be hearing it so often anymore. yeah, he'll be a month old on friday. whoa! :)

We are getting our zoo membership back...soon.... gotta get passed Amy's shower, first. So when we do- we shall zoo it up ALL of the time!
That magnolia tree makes a gorgeous background for the kids - perfect for spring! Hope that you have a great time at the zoo...I wish it weren't so grey here, I would love to spend the morning at the zoo!
ADORABLE - both of them! I hope you had a good time at the zoo - don't have any snappy comebacks for you, it is just so different with the 2nd, you can't really slow down because the first is still running around expecting life to go on as normal!
Aww, so sweet both of them! That magnolia tree is gorgeous - and so are your kidos. :D
Tell the 'crazy' commenters to get a life. You are doing 100% AOK!!! You are an example to all!! And the magnolia is a great annual backdrop. Enjoy this sleepy Sprout because before you know it..... :-D
