tonight bean decided to try some of daddy's candy. he was eating pop rocks. she really wanted some so of course we gave her some!
she liked it at first. then she didn't like it. then she asked for more. then she said she didn't like it. then she said she didn't want anymore but she was going to stick out her tongue and i could put some on it! then, of course, she didn't like it AGAIN. she ate an awful lot of the stuff for not liking it! ;)
i was hoping for some crazy reaction from her when the candy hit her tongue. candy that pops and fizzes in your mouth, you think that would freak a two year old right out. no, not so much. it was pretty cute though. she'd sit there and be all smiling while you could hear the candy fizzing in her mouth, then suddenly both her hands would fly up and cover her mouth. she would stare at us with big eyes and say, "i don't like it". then, 30 seconds later, she wanted more! what a turkey!

Adam does that too! he did that with chicken wings the other day. They were very hot, but he sure liked them... and then he didn't...and then he did. haha.
Haha! Kids are so funny! Nadia does the same thing with spicy stuff - she "does't like it" but yet she keeps asking for more!

HA! Pop rocks were a staple in my diet during the 70's. Of course.. we were always careful not to mix them with soda so out stomachs wouldn't explode! LOL!
My youngest also didn't know what to think about Pop Rocks. They kind of scared her as soon as they started popping. She of course kept coming back for more, even though she'd wipe them off of her tongue every time they'd come to life!
I think 'pop rocks' are the product of a sick mind :-D I mean...how did they get invented?????
