ok, crappity #1:
bean can unlatch the gate in our yard. not a terrible nightmare considering she is never outside alone... BUT she now has the power to free the magpie who is a runner. and by runner i mean olympic sprinter. she also refuses to listen to commands when she is free of the confines of her yard... naughty dog. no this hasn't happened yet, and it won't because we bought a "latchy thing" to prevent the gate from opening. the visions of my two naughty girls running down the street made the purchase happen very quickly!
crappity #2:
bean can now open doors. yes, she is now tall enough to reach the handle and jiggle it ever so patiently until the door opens. i was living in this fantasy world where even though i knew that she was getting taller and probably tall enough to reach the handles she surely wouldn't be able to turn them and open the door! no way! so yeah, i have been proven wrong. now shutting the door to keep her out of a room is no longer an option. i guess we will be going out to the stores looking at covers for door knobs. sigh.
oh, happy father's day to all the daddies out there. hope you have an enjoyable day with your child(ren)!!

Oh dear! I've chased a dog or two in my lifetime...it's not fun! It's that beagle mix in her, they just run and run!!

We bought daddy "Nonuts" for breakfast... yea... I tried to get him to say "D...D....Donuts" but it didn't work. So daddy had "nonuts"... poor daddy. ha ha ha.
Ohh big girls, before you know it will be school and (hide) boys :)
