this is bean with the turtle we found at the metro park the other day. she really didn't know what to think of it. she knew it was a turtle but she's never seen a LIVE turtle before. i told her about the turtle's hard shell and how he could go inside it. i picked him up to show her how he does it. i told her it would be ok to touch his shell. well, NO she did NOT want to touch him. i put the turtle down in the grass... i didn't feel the street was a safe place for any of us to be. well... you can see from the second picture that bean wasn't really into that! HA!
so, after we left, she CRIED because she wanted to see the turtle again! toddlers! ;)
