bean apparently convinced the magpie to be her playhouse protector. yeah, she went into the house all on her own. now, she didn't stay in there very long. she jumped through an open window and went back to her regularly scheduled doggy duties after a few minutes of picture taking on my part. i particularly like this one. i somehow managed to catch her in mid yawn. it looks rather menacing but she truly is an all bark no bite kind of dog.
the magpie went to the vet today for her check up. the bean had to come along. the vet was running way behind schedule. sigh. bean was REALLY good though. she just talked to everyone and never got loud or obnoxious. she even asked the vet if he could "check" her too. (she loves to play doctor and since magpie was being checked she thought that she should too!) magpie "looks very good" according to her health report card. yay!
bean is in tantrum mode right now. she is refusing to take her nap. she is in her crib crying saying "i not sleepy! mommy i always 'wake! i need get down mommy! i not sleepy either" etc, etc, etc. she woke up at 6:20 this morning- over an hour early. how can she NOT take a nap today!!!!! BAH!!!! she is staying in there for an hour! i'll call it quite time, it will be good for both of us. sigh.
now i gotta clean house... "daddy's poker friends" are coming over tonight. wish me luck! HA!
