bean likes to move and groove. she will dance to most music. she will dance when there is no music. it is mostly a bouncing twist with some jumping thrown in for good measure. i'm trying to get her to "shake her booty" but she's not real into that. :) she likes to do her own thing.
daddy likes to play "the best of the brady bunch" for her. it is a dance party when that cd comes out. she will tell anyone in the room to "dance!" when the guys came over to play poker the other night she even got some of them to dance with her! daddy has some really nice friends!!! HA!
went to international migratory bird day at the zoo. it was fun. bean got to make a couple of crafts and take home some pictures of birds. we also looked at the animals. we had to see the pallas cat- it seems to be her favorite animal. we saw it last week when we went and she kept asking to see the "cats" today! i'm always amazed at what she can remember.
my house looks like a tornado hit it. it is such a mess! i have to keep reminding myself that it is NOT a big deal. some days i feel like i'm doing a terrible job- doing this stay at home mom stuff is hard! when things are falling apart you really feel like you must be doing something wrong. i need to remember that what i do with bean is the most important thing. if the dishes aren't done- woop dee doo! the floor needs swept- who cares!! she won't remember the dishes were dirty but she might remember me climbing into the sandbox with her to make a castle. so for all you mother's out there reading this- do something fun with your kids this weekend! make a wonderful mom memory for them AND yourself.... and leave the dishes in the sink where they belong!!!
