why is it that anytime the mommy is sick her children are more whiny, fussy, and clingy than normal? why do they have to need more whenever you have less to give?
i'm still feeling rather out of it. my cold has decided that it would like to move out of my head and into my chest. this means i'm starting to get a nasty and annoying cough. oh, it is delightful.
bean is whiny, clingy, and crying about everything. i don't really know why. i'm sure it has something to do with baby brother but maybe she is getting sick too. who knows. what i do know is that i'm not in the mood for all of that crying! she also has become incredibly shy. for example, she won't play at play group if there is someone there that she doesn't know well. it is a little frustrating.
sprout, well, he's fussy too. and i don't know what his problem is at all. i feel like i still know very little about him since i have to spend so much time with his sister. so, diagnosing his issues is VERY difficult. oh, and bean seems to think that she is his mommy and is always trying to help him with anything and everything. the ducky blanket in the picture above is hers but she gave it to him in hopes that he would stop crying. it worked. that is until she ripped it back out of his hands because she was "done sharing". sigh.
so that is what is going on here. there is lots of stuff i want to write about but i just don't have the energy. hopefully we all start feeling better soon and things will get back to normal!

Oh dear. Feel better!! Sorry Playgroup was a bust today. At least Bean sat still and didn't whine too much. :( Have a good rest of the week!
Amen! Or they are extremely loud when you have an ear-splitting earache?
Ouch. Maybe she is feeling a little under the weather too - the whininess is definitely an indicator around here!

Hugs! I ended up with a sinus infection the first week home from the hospital. Yeah, sickness is definitely not what you need right now. So I'm going to pray for health for you, Bean and Sprout, and then for just sheer happiness and cooperation all the way around above all that. I know it's tough, believe me, I know. Hang in there and I hope you're feeling better soon!
You poor dear! Sick Mommyx1 is bad enough, I can't imagine it with two little ones! they really do seem to get more clingy and demanding just when you can least handle it. I hope tomorrow is a better day!
How do they sense this when we feel horrible? Always fussy when we least need it! Hope the weekend goes a bit better!
