june 18th-21st:
we went to my parents house. the kids were fairly good considering daddy wasn't around (he was in vegas, remember), but of course nana and papa were there to spoil them with attention so i'm sure that helped. we didn't really do anything while we were there but some times it is nice to just sit still. :)
June 23:
we went to the splash park with my sister and her girls. ellie loved the splash park last yer and i hoped chase would too. he was... undecided about his feelings at first but he eventually got into it so a good time was had by all. :)

june 24th:
ellie was invited to a dinosaur dig at one of her best girl friend's house. there were dino bones in the sandbox the girls had to dig up. we also went swimming, hunted for dinosaur eggs and played with water balloons. it was a FANTASTIC time!!
ok, there is still more to come! a fancy nancy party at the bookstore, several birthday parties (all of them for bean!), a trip to cedar point, feeding exotic animals, etc, etc, etc. stay tuned for all the exciting details!! ha ha!:)

Looks like a lot of fun to me!
how FUN! LOVE the shot of Bean under the waterfall!
A dinosaur party!!!! VERY cool. Why didn't I think of that? I've never heard them called 'splash parks' before. Good name! In the UK I think we called it 'the paddling pool' or perhaps the bigger ones with flumes were called water parks. We don't seem to have them here in Adelaide. Not outdoor ones anyway. The indoor ones are called 'Aquatic Centres', how pompous is that?
arizaphale- we call it a splash park... i don't know if it has an actual term or not. it is a place where there are fountains and waterfalls for the kids to play in but no actual pool. just water shooting out of the ground or falling from above. it is great because it is FREE!!! :D
Your kids are NOT afraid of water, huh?! Nadia is still very skittish of it, so it amazes me to see kids for comfortable with water in their face.
