and now adding the dye... magenta! turquoise! purple! :)
she wanted to add more colors but there was no white shirt left to put it on...
and after letting the shirt sit for a couple days we washed it and she HAD to wear it...
i think it turned out great. better than expected actually. thanks to everyone at former work place for including us. bean had a great time!! :)

I love the shirt, could just see any 3 year old getting a kick out of that activity.
I'll say! It turned out awesome. I've tie-dyed once in my life, and my attempt didn't come out nearly as cool as Bean's. She's a natural little hippie. :o)

Your posts have been getting lost in the depths of my feed reader :-( Just realised I hadn't seen much from you so had to pop over and see if everything is ok. What a great activity for kids. I like the idea of putting the dye on with a squeeze bottle. We always did it by dying the light colour first, then over tying etc etc. This looks much better. The final result is brilliant! What a great idea.(Love her look of concentration in that first photo)
