Bean's Bike

bean got this tricycle for her birthday. it is great! however, her little legs are just to short to peddle it. even with the gigantic blocks that my dad made and attached to said peddles. this does NOT mean that bean has given up on the idea of biking! no it just means daddy has to be the source of power. what we need to figure out is how to teach a 2 year old to steer. see, she goes about 6 feet or so and ends up in the grass because she won't keep the handle bars straight. ( poor frustrated daddy!)

ok here it is, pregnancy gripe #1: why did i have to wear a maternity shirt today?? why do i only have 3 pairs of pants that i can wear comfortably?? good grief why do i have to go buy all new bras- honestly how could the "girls" have gotten so much bigger this soon!?!?! i'm 10 weeks! 10 weeks! i didn't wear maternity anything until i was 18 weeks with bean and that was because i wanted to be comfortable at work (my regular pants were too tight and my yoga pants were not professional enough). i feel FAT and this disturbs me because i never really felt fat while pregnant with bean. so... BAH! to my stretched out body! and a prayer that i'm not the size of a house before this is all over..... gah!

Well...at least if you DO turn into a house, it will be in the winter this time?!??! :) So, that is a plus, right?!

You look FINE, btw! Yes, the girls look bigger and they are... but heck, they are supposed to grow. Everything is different the second time- trust me!

Oh, and gripe away... it's your God given right as a walking baby grower... lol

We are in the same situation with Rebecca and her bike - the way she grows it will be a few years before she can reach the pedals.

Im sure you look great, just enjoy the pregnancy and worry about the weight after it

Love the bike pic. She looks so cute and excited. I remember the inability to steer thing. Baby Angel didn't learn for years (still couldn't do it at 3 and a half) but has no problems now :-)

And listen to the girls about the weight. You'll be fine!
